Description |
Pewter ornament of the Ridgebury Congregational Church, sold by the Ridgefield Woman's Club for Christmas 2006. The ornament was made by Woodbury Pewterers, Woodbury, CT, and depicts the church with the inscription "Ridgebury Congregational Church" on one side, and "Ridgefield, Connecticut, 2006" on the reverse. The Woman's Club notes that the church building "is the oldest standing house of worship in Ridgefield," the current building having been erected in 1851. |
