In 2013, with Dr. Neligan in failing health, the couple moved to the Meadow Ridge community in Redding, CT.

Notes	Emigrating to America with her Irish husband in 1954, Neligan became a dedicated and active parishioner of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church for over fifty years. She volunteered for many altruistic organizations. Neligan loved gardening and was a lifelong member of the Ridgefield Garden Club and served as President and was Zone II Chairman for the Garden Club of America. Also, she served on the Ridgefield Historical Society and was known for her incredible knowledge of the town’s history and people.
