-In 1936, Elizabeth and 10 other women founded the Boys Club as a result in the rise of junevile delinquency. -Upon her death, the property was bequeathed to the town. The home, "Graeloe", was to be torn down and the 5 acres to be used as a park. The greenhouse was preserved and is used as the Ridgefield Garden Club and the Caudatowa Garden Club. |
