Gloria Perini Biagiotti 04/11/07 1 photo Gloria was born in Ridgefield on Prospect Street in her grandfather Julius Latanzi's house. Gloria's father came to Ridgefield from Italy as a young man and worked as a laborer for Bacchiochi Construction. Her mother was born here in Ridgefield on Bailey Avenue. Her family moved to the Zinsser estate, named Dunbankin, when her father got the caretaking job there. Gloria attended school on Bailey Ave. and then went from grades 2-12 at the old high school. She chose to study nursing after graduation and moved to NYC and attended nursing school at Lenox Hill Hospital. Many years later after living in Europe with her husband and children, Gloria and husband Aldo bought their house on North Salem Rd. that originally belonged to the Richardson estate. |
